About Me

As a student of Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, I am passionately steering my career towards the dynamic field of robotics engineering. My educational journey has not only equipped me with a solid technical foundation but also ignited a deep-seated enthusiasm for innovation in robotics. Beyond the realms of technology, I find a unique sense of fulfillment in cooking. This occasional culinary escapade offers me a creative respite, allowing me to explore flavors and techniques that contrast with my technical pursuits. Additionally, I actively participate in Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, which I find remarkably calming and mentally rejuvenating. These competitions are more than a hobby; they are a critical part of my strategy for keeping my mind sharp and focused. To complement my mental and creative endeavors, I engage in table tennis. This sport keeps me physically active and serves as a perfect balance to my intellectually demanding pursuits

Have worked with ROS to perform 3d and 2d navigation. 3d navigation on a prototype martian rover and 2d navigation on a 3 wheeled car as a personal project

MoveIt

Have used MoveIt to implement arm autonomy on UR3 and a custom built robotic arm leveraging its stong inverse kinematics algorithms and robust planning pipeline along with AI

AIML

Proficient in python along with AI solutions familiar with various libraries have worked in object detection as well as incorporated it in robotics. Have worked a bit on NLP as well as DL.

Web Development

Front-end and Back-end Development. Proficient in various databases like mongodb and SQL.

Cybersecurity

Proficient in network security as well as encryption, have experience in malware analysis along with binary exploitation, likes to occasionally take part in CTFs

Hold an electronics and telecommunication bachelors degree, as well as worked in a lot of robotics projects where integration of ROS with electronic components is required

ERC 2022 (remote edition)

In 2022, Taher and his team DJS Antariksh participated in the European Rover Challenge (ERC) remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Their rover design and programming secured them 1st place out of the international teams competing. The ERC is an annual rover building competition hosted in Poland where university teams design and build Mars rovers that are judged on design, innovation and Mars terrain traversing abilities.

IRDC 2022

At the 2022 International Rover Design Competition (IRDC), Taher and the DJS Antariksh team earned 3rd place for their rover design. The IRDC is an international Mars rover competition hosted in the USA where teams have to design and build a rover under 50kg that can autonomously navigate Mars analogue terrain.

IRC 2023

Competing at the International Rover Challenge (IRC) in 2023, Taher and his teammates secured 8th place for their rover entry. The IRC is an international engineering competition held annually in the USA, challenging university teams to design and build the next generation of Mars rovers.

ERC 2023 (remote edition)

For the 2023 remote edition of the European Rover Challenge, Taher and his teammates earned 2nd place among the international teams competing with their remotely operated rover.

ERC 2023 (onsite edition)

In the 2023 onsite edition of the European Rover Challenge held in Poland, Taher and the DJS Antariksh team placed 10th overall for their rover design and Mars terrain traversal abilities.

Spark

Along with teammates Bhaumik and Vedangi, Taher secured 1st place in India's national Spark robotics competition by successfully designing and implementing a 6 degree of freedom autonomous robotic arm.
